Chris, Tracy and Shane just finished working on my "driveway" and the result is great! Said "driveway" is about 1/4 mile long and had serious ruts, exposed limestone outcroppings due to about 12 years of erosion, not to mention a steep drop-off where it meets the paved road. Said road is Lime Creek, which has no shoulder, and we are near the bottom of a long hill so there is a ton of run-off when it rains. And the fact that you can now see Lake Travis from this hill again after years of being waaay down due to drought speaks to the amount of rain we've had this year, causing our already sketchy road/driveway to be only accessible by full sized pickup or suvs with some lift/extra clearance. The Phillips' crew broke up the limestone, graded the the whole length of the driveway, and used larger stones to provide appropriate "edging," to help hold the new surface in place. And the formerly extreme dropoff from the paved road to our road is non-existent, as they packed enough road base there to make the driveway level with Lime Creek. The job was accomplished in just 2 days, plus a couple of hours this morning for the final touches. I am *very* happy with their work. ☆☆☆☆☆!

We have a long driveway that was damaged in the July storms. Really appreciate the time Chris & Tracy took to explain what options we have for repair and what could be done to prevent damage in the future. Very pleased with the work they did! It was a combination of debris removal from the floods , clearing culverts and repairing my gravel driveway. They were on time, very communicative and professional. I’d definitely recommend them to others!

Chris went above and beyond what I expected. Our driveway looks great! Had the decomposed granite put in by our house to give us a better parking situation…We’ve got a long driveway about 500 feet and he graded it and smoothed out all the way to the road. We’ve had issues with rocks and drainage for years, now our driveway is smooth and drains much better…Looking forward to having him back out for more.

I can’t say enough about this family run business. Work after the flood out there they replaced my Road with fresh granite and it is incredible. Second and third picture. They also created a way to get down to the river that was washed out from the flood. So easy to work with, so much integrity, great work, and upfront about the cost, which I found very, very fair. I have a 1,000 ft driveway that dips down over a creek and back up with many elevation changes and turns. Phillips SS helped fix problem areas where existing road base had washed away and touched up the rest of the driveway. I appreciated their thoroughness with estimates, timelines, and communication. They were great to work with and will use again for future projects.

I have a crushed granite driveway and Chris and team did a great job repairing the pot holes and smoothing it from front to back. The roller compacted it down so it should last a long time. He also repaired our dressage arena by turning over the sand and moving the sand from the high area to lower area. I highly recommend Chris and Phillips Skid Steering.
